Hot Mirror

Design used to block the near infrared wave lengths from a source of continuous radiation by reflection rater than absorption and transmit white light. This type of design can be worked with heat-sensitive items.

Cold Mirror

Design used to reflect visible white light and transmit heat( infrared wavelengths).This design is ideal when a broad range of infrared wavelengths must be removed from a white light path. Typical applications are Medical instrument, Overhead projectors, lighting,and many more applications.
