Infrared pass filter allows infrared light of a specific wavelength range to pass through while blocking other wavelength ranges. It is designed to transmit wavelengths longer than a specified 5% cutoff wavelength and block wavelengths shorter than this cutoff. This effectively reduces noise generated at shorter wavelengths, thereby enhancing the precision of thermal detection. Typically used in motion and intrusion sensors, the filter is available in various sizes based on customer requirements. To minimize noise, it is designed to have a blocking performance of less than 0.1% on average and less than 1% in absolute terms.

Product Characteristics
